Live Well Chiropractic‘s sole purpose is to provide the best wellness care for you and your family. Dr. Kris was born and raised right here in Bedford County on a family farm. He always had a desire to help other people so he chose to learn one of the most natural forms of health care, chiropractic. He graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2000 and returned home to set up his office in the Bedford area.
Since day one he has had a positive response from the community because of his unique style. Dr. Kris’s chiropractic adjustments are gentle, relaxing and some people even fall asleep. He has a high tech approach to find the underlying cause of health concerns by using computer scans that detect stress in your nervous system. He also takes a wellness approach to health where he not only helps a person get healthy but also provides education on how to stay healthy for a lifetime.
Dr. Kris says, ‘I am excited to go to the office everyday because of the amazing miracles that happen there every day. People getting off medication, women getting pregnant, sinuses and allergies clearing up, digestion and immunity improving, kids doing better in school, increased energy, and people simply being happier and healthier.’
Dr. Kris has been happily married to his wife Tina since 2000 and together they have three children; Olivia, Isaac and Sophia.
Dr. Jason was born and raised in Bakers Summit in Bedford County, PA. He attended Northern Bedford High School, Lock Haven University and graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2006. Dr. Jason has always been interested in health and wellness. When he was in high school, his mother started going to a chiropractor to help with her scoliosis. This helped him decide that the natural approach to health was the way he wanted to go.
I was born in beautiful Latrobe, PA and grew up a pretty active child. I played ice hockey and baseball starting at age 5, had my share of injuries and suffered from frequent headaches early on. The medication I was taking did not prevent my headaches from returning. My parents took me to a chiropractor to see if he could help. After an evaluation, he discovered that my neck was not aligned properly and adjusted it. I did not have a headache for a week after that. After a few more treatments, my headaches resolved completely. It was life changing for me!
Jordyn Polke is one of the newest members of the Live Well Chiropractic team, serving as a Regenerative Therapist. She brings a warm, uplifting presence to the office and is passionate about helping patients experience the benefits of natural, restorative care.
Jordyn has always had a deep interest in fitness, natural health, and homeopathic wellness. After walking through her own season of physical and emotional stress, including the sudden passing of her father, she understands how life’s challenges can sometimes pull people away from their health goals. That experience has given her a greater appreciation for the importance of healing, support, and staying committed to wellness.
To Jordyn, living well means showing up for herself every day so she can better show up for the people she loves, both personally and professionally. She is grateful to be in a role that allows her to continue pursuing her own wellness goals while encouraging others in theirs.

Kelsey Havlin’s passion for functional health was born from her own journey of searching for answers. After years of dealing with debilitating migraines and skin issues—and feeling like most solutions only managed symptoms—she discovered a whole-person, root-cause approach through herbs, yoga, and functional wellness.
Today, Kelsey helps patients feel heard, supported, and guided with practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies that make sense and actually fit real life. Her coaching focus includes female hormones, blood sugar, Lyme support, digestive concerns, weight loss, and detox support.
She went from doctor to doctor searching for clarity, only to feel like she was getting the runaround: another appointment, another prescription, another temporary fix… and still no real explanation for why her body kept breaking down. Over time, that cycle became deeply discouraging—and it planted the seed for her future work: helping people feel truly seen, heard, and guided toward real answers.
Discovering herbs—and eventually becoming a yoga teacher—opened Kelsey’s eyes to whole-person health: physical, emotional, and spiritual. What truly lit a fire in her was watching people she loved keep suffering, even though they were “doing all the right things.” That’s what brought her into functional health, where we look deeper at nutrition, lifestyle, environment, deficiencies, and toxic load—and how these factors can quietly block the body’s ability to heal.
Today, Kelsey helps patients feel heard, supported, and guided with a plan that makes sense. Her approach is rooted in compassion, education, and practical steps you can actually follow—so you can move forward with clarity and hope.
